Our History

BluePrints for Business, founded in Central California in 1983 and now based in Asheville, NC, brings more than 100 years of combined business management, ownership and consulting experience in over 60 industries to small and medium-sized businesses throughout the Southeast. We bring a new consulting dynamic to companies that have been traditionally underserved by large consulting conglomerates and small, narrowly focused consulting firms.

BluePrints for Business fills the expertise and pricing gap between the large and small consulting firms. Through our founding and strategic partners, we have the resources to offer small and mid-size businesses the comprehensive range of services and expertise found in large consulting firms. But by utilizing only the resources your project needs, we are able to keep our cost structure in a range that befits the size and scope of your company and project.

Our history is rooted in the track records of our founding partners’ 100 years of experience in consulting engagements covering business start-ups, turnarounds, workouts, emerging growth, mergers and acquisitions.
